This mid-career sales position is with All American Containers, the
Rigid Packaging Division of Veritiv. As a Rigid Packaging Sales
Professional, you will be responsible for hunting within medium and
large consumer products companies to create custom, value added
packaging solutions. Through a consultative sales process you will
discover the customers needs then collaboratively determine whether
stock or custom packaging is the best fit for the project. Whether
the customer is introducing a new product or re-staging an existing
one, you will be the consultant throughout the process. From
component consultation, choice of manufacturer and inventory
management, to providing the most cost-effective and efficient door
to door service, All American Containers packaging professionals
advise the customer every step of the way to help turn their
packaging visions into reality. By acting as an extension of your
customers business, you will become an invaluable asset and will
build long term, mutually beneficial relationships.
- Expand existing rigid packaging market share with mid and large
consumer product companies in the Food, Nutritional or Personal
Care market segments.
- Plan, coordinate and conduct sales presentations to individuals
and client groups, independently and with sales management.
- Create annual forecast for assigned accounts; work with
management to establish strategy to achieve specific account
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of our product line; maintain
knowledge of the markets we serve, learn competitive environment;
establish strategy to secure competitors business in your
- Work closely with customer service support staff, keeping them
apprised of customer needs and any deviations.
- Work strategically and collaboratively with vendors and core
suppliers to develop new business and protect existing.
- Use CRM software to manage and document all customer
- Prefer a Bachelors degree with 5 + years of successful sales
experience calling on consumer products companies.
- Experience developing successful partnerships with Consumer
Products companies in the Food, Nutritional or Personal Care
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and
relationship building skills.
- Strong ability to skillfully use a CRM software system to track
