• Accelerated Career Growth!Job DetailsThe Manufacturing Training Facilitator will be responsible for recording and collecting knowledge in production methods and the transfer of this knowledge to the floor through on the job training of new employees and cross-training/retraining current employees. The position is responsible for set-up and support of training in the production departments and for coaching and support afterwards. The Manufacturing Training Facilitator makes and administers the necessary training tools for training employees and for ensuring expertise. The position formulates and coordinates the planning of different training activities in consultation with management. This position will also be responsible for the creation of a skills matrix and training plan for each manufacturing employee.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Coordinate/Facilitate/Organize/Conduct training and re-certification of employees as directed by Management, in applicable functional areas on all three shifts.Assist in the creation of work procedures.Evaluate trainees for effectiveness of training and employee growth.Consult with team leaders and managers to assess training needs and develop training programs to match those needs.Audit all direct labor and value added processes (OJT), work instructions, procedures, forms and MES station activities.Maintain employee skills matrices and training plans.Assists HR and Team Leaders as needed in the onboarding and orientation process.Identify areas where training opportunities may exist and present to leadership.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or equivalent.1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment/industrial environment, preferably as a production specialist or team leader.Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.Minimum of 1 year experience in Training/instructing.Interested in hearing more?
