impact you'll make:Reporting into Chief Executive Officer, The Head
of Business Development is responsible for leading a newly
established partnership across the United States with a major
specialty, multi retailer. This means you will ensure all project
phases with the major retailer are successfully initiated,
launched, and managed toward the achievement of our sales plan.
This role will involve strategic decision-making, relationship
building, and sales plan execution to maximize opportunities and
ensure project achieves all success metrics.All Saje Team Members
are responsible for contributing to Saje's culture and maintaining
a positive environment for themselves and their peers.What you'll
do:Pre-Launch:
- Lead the newly established partnership with the major retailer
for Saje, serving as the primary contact for Saje's Project Team
and all associated third-party partners, ensuring seamless
communication and coordination.
- Drive the smooth execution of the project by identifying key
milestones and proactively overcoming roadblocks to ensure an
on-time and successful launch.
- Advise Saje's Executive Team on strategic opportunities to
enable effective business decisions, maximizing business potential
both Saje and the major retailer, while managing costs within
budget.
- Foster strong relationships with all partners to ensure smooth
and profitable operations, building a foundation of trust and
collaboration.
- Ensure all activities align with and represent Saje's brand,
values, and business objectives, maintaining brand integrity and
consistency.Partnership Launch:
- Manage the US Team for our new Retail Partnership, ensuring
they are well prepared and aligned with project goals.
- Oversee the program once live, continuing to serve as the
primary contact between all partners and Saje to maximize
opportunities and drive success.
- Drive the field sales and education strategy for this
partnership, including immersing third-party employees into the
Saje brand and onboarding BAs in select locations.
- Drive the marketing and digital implementation for this
partnership, ensuring that the eCommerce expression of the brand
integrates seamlessly into the US customer experience for both
third-party and Saje eCommerce platforms.
- Understand and align both businesses' commercial calendars to
identify future planning opportunities for crossover and enhanced
collaboration, ensuring strategic alignment and synergy.Sales &
Operations Management:
- Drive accountability for the sales plan for FY25, while
collaborating with third-party partners, the Saje Executive Team,
and the Retail Partner to capitalize on opportunities that propel
the brand forward and ensure we meet or exceed our sales
targets.
- Partner with the Saje Operations Team to identify and fulfill
inventory needs, driving the success of the Partnership.
- Advise the Saje Executive Team on emerging opportunities to
fuel new business initiatives, ensuring continuous growth and
innovation.
- Monitor and report on project progress, providing regular
updates to the Executive Team to ensure transparency and alignment
with business objectives.We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Extensive experience in leading national accounts, business
development, sales, or a related field.
- Experience working with a major Retailer, such as Sephora, Ulta
or Target.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing new
Retail Partnerships, driving business growth, and managing highly
critical partnerships.
- Highly skilled in building and nurturing relationships, with
the capability to think strategically and make data-driven
decisions that propel the business forward.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is essential, including
leading teams and managing cross-functional projects to achieve
organizational goals.
- Expertise in project management, with the ability to manage
complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and
successful delivery.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, with a deep
understanding of sales processes and techniques that drive revenue
growth.
- Knowledge of marketing and digital strategy, including
eCommerce and digital marketing best practices.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and
analyze financial reports to make informed business decisions.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence
and negotiate effectively with internal and external
stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to overcoming challenges and clearing
roadblocks, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and
environments, demonstrating resilience and agility.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to align
strategies to meet those needs, ensuring customer satisfaction and
loyalty.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage
multiple priorities and deadlines, ensuring efficient and effective
operations.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment

- Strong analytical skills to drive strategic decisions and
identify growth opportunities, ensuring the company's long-term
