Job Description:
Arcosa Lightweight is searching for a Control / Process Operator
(Burner) for our Frazier Park, CA plant. As a Control / Process
Operator, you will foster a positive safety culture while operating
equipment, maintaining designated work areas, and assisting with
plant projects within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is
regulated by MSHA safety standards. Arcosa Lightweight is a leading
producer and distributor in the Western and Southwestern U.S. of
lightweight and natural aggregates, including expanded shale and
clay, crushed stone, sand and gravel, asphalt rock, and other

What You Will Do: Actively promote safety awareness and continuous
improvement through positive recognition (Actual job
responsibilities) i.e. Safely operate heavy equipment to transport
raw materials or finished product throughout the facility Comply
with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable
government regulations. Perform daily pre-shift equipment and
workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance Maintain
strong communications with other plant employees and operators
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned Perform tasks
assigned in a safe and effective manner Maintain the bowl mill and
cooler area Perform all necessary work area inspections and
document discrepancies. This includes any heavy equipment
checklist/inspections Provide guidance to less experienced
operators Monitor production flow Maintain production through
proper temperature, process speed, etc. Set up and operate
automatic or semiautomatic machines and related equipment in a
continuous production/processing operation Monitor meters, gauges,
valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls
and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process
specifications Report any malfunctions or abnormalities and make
minor adjustments and repairs to equipment Follow all safety rules
and practices Perform all work in accordance with established
safety procedures Perform other duties as assigned What You Will
Need: Prompt, regular and predictable attendance The ability to
stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks
up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 50 lbs. The
ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry,
dusty, rainy) The ability to be trained in mobile and industrial
plant equipment The ability to read blueprints is a plus, but not
required Proficient skills in welding, cutting and torching Working
Conditions and Physical Environment: While most equipment has air
conditioning, there will be times when other responsibilities may
require periods of work in all weather conditions including heat,
cold, wet, dry, and dusty. Regularly sitting, standing, walking,
talking, hearing. Vision requirements include close vision, depth
perception, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of hands and
arms. Requires ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights,
up to 50lbs. Occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing,
reaching, ascending, and descending stairs or ladders. The above
