Job Description Job Description Position Title: Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) – Dermatology Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our dermatology team. The provider will receive clinical support from an average of two trained medical assistants, including scribing assistance. While direct dermatology experience is preferred, training will be provided for candidates with relevant backgrounds in specialties such as ENT, Urgent Care, or Family Medicine. Our practice values long-term relationships with our providers, many of whom have been with us for over 5 to 10 years. Job Details: Locations: Bakersfield, Palmdale, Valencia Job Type: Full-time or Part-time Pay: $85.00 - $125.00 per hour (based on experience and capabilities) Schedule: Monday – Friday; occasional Saturdays Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years as an active medical provider 6 months of dermatology experience preferred (training available, primarily in Valencia) Licensure & Certification: Active PA or NP License (required) Active DEA License (required) Job Duties: Provide general dermatology care including biopsies and excisions Diagnose, treat, and manage skin conditions Prescribe pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments Promote health education and preventive care Collaborate with supervising physician and report to the Medical Director Coordinate comprehensive clinical care Clinical Support & Workflow: Providers receive 1–2 medical assistants for support Medical assistants are trained to scribe and assist with procedures EMR/EHR system used: Mod Med Patient volume: PPO: 30–40 patients/day HMO: 60–70 patients/day (2:1 ratio to PPO) Benefits: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Company Description LanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
