dedicated Radiology Technologist like you to be a part of our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a Radiology
Technologist whose primary function is to obtain medical
radiographs in a hospital setting. If that is you, come be a part
of what makes us great and apply today! - You will be responsible
for delivering high quality care while obtaining correctly
positioned and adequately exposed radiographs and for keeping
current with new technology. - You will assist the Radiologist or
physician, as necessary. - You will be expected to be competent in
transporting patients and assisting in registration of patients. -
You will be expected to be competent in processing, copying and
releasing of radiology images and CDs. - You may be asked to assist
the Radiologist or physician to assist in invasive procedures. -
You may be asked to do vital signs, prepare and assist in the
administration of contrast media. QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be
certified by the state of California for Radiography - Must be
certified by the state of California for Fluoroscopy - Registration
through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is
preferred - Technologists must be current with continuing education
requirements - Current American Heart Association BCLS
certification - Ability to work independently - Knowledge of
asepsis - Ability to identify problems, generate and analyze
feasible solutions and choose an optimum course of action - Ability
to communicate effectively orally and in writing - Strong
interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense
