Job Description:
Join Sports Physical Therapy (SPT) as a Speech Language
Pathologist where you will be a vital member of our specialized
team dedicated to improving patient health and athletic
performance. At SPT, we believe recovery involves comprehensive
wellness, and your expertise in speech pathology will help expand
our rehabilitative reach to ensure holistic patient care. You will
be instrumental in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech,
language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and
swallowing disorders in patients recovering from athletic injuries.
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication and
swallowing disorders. Develop and implement well-rounded treatment
plans to meet the individual needs of patients. Provide training
and education to patients and families about speech disorders and
therapy management. Collaborate with other healthcare providers to
ensure optimal patient care and recovery. Document patient progress
and adjust treatments as necessary. Maintain patient
confidentiality and records in accordance with federal and state
laws and regulations. Expertise in therapeutic techniques and
diagnostics used in speech pathology. Ability to work
collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and
time-management skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state license as a Speech
Language Pathologist. CPR certification is preferred.
