The Registered Nurse (RN) role offers you the opportunity to work in a small, close-knit community where you can build meaningful relationships with both the people we support and your fellow dedicated team members.Registered Nurse (RN) Essential Responsibilities:Provide skilled nursing care to individuals with disabilities in an Intermediate Care Facility settingImplement and oversee the health care plans for residentsAdminister medications and perform medical procedures, as neededCollaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure the well-being of residentsMaintain accurate medical records and documentationOffer support and guidance to: License Vocational Nurse (LVN), Direct Support Professionals (DSP)Participate in complex case management and engage in continuous learning opportunitiesRegistered Nurse (RN) Qualifications:Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of CaliforniaOne (1) year experience as an RN; requiredCPR certificationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsA genuine passion for providing quality care and support to individuals with disabilitiesAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environmentWillingness to adapt to the needs of the residents and facilityFacility Information:Our facilities are Intermediate Care Facilities for individuals with disabilities (ICF/DD-H and ICF/DD-N)Caregiver (DSP) to people supported ratio is usually 1:3, sometimes as high as 1:1 supportNursing caseload typically ranges from 6-15 residentsOur home sizes are small, including 6-bed and 15-bed facilitiesHigh-acuity care is limited or prohibited by facility regulationsOur Immediate Care Facilities provide wound care per licensing requirements, ranging from simple wounds to a maximum of stage I pressure ulcersHospice care is very limited and is provided collaboratively with professional hospice care providers who come to our homesAdditional Information:A $3,000 Sign-On Bonus* will be paid in two payments: the first payment after 90 days of employment and the second payment after 6 months of employment.If you are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) looking for a rewarding career in a supportive and caring environment, we encourage you to apply.
