2 – Contract Administration based out of either Woodland Hills, CA
or Salt Lake City, UT. This is an onsite position that offers the
9/80 schedule. What You Will Get to Do The Manager 2 – Contract
Administration will lead the Aftermarket and Civil Aviation
activities within the Navigator Operating Unit within the
Navigation and Cockpit Systems (NACS) Business Unit reporting to
the NACS BU Contract Manager. In this role, Contract Manager 2 will
be responsible for all aspects of the Aftermarket and Civil
Aviation contracts’ portfolio delivering successful financial
performance, risk mitigation, change management, and customer
satisfaction. Additionally, the successful candidate will be
responsible for the direct supervision, management, and success of
a staff of 8 contracts professionals. Specifically, the Contract
Manager 2 will lead their team in conducting proposal preparation,
contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact
activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and
fulfillment in accordance with company policies, business strategy,
legal requirements, and customer specifications. The Contract
Manager 2 will also be required to provide objective-oriented
direction utilizing management guidelines, general policies, and
maintain a strong level of engagement, while dynamically leading,
inspiring, motivating and developing a team of contract
professionals. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 8 years
of industry related experience in contract
administration/management – OR – a Master’s degree with 6 years of
industry related experience as outlined above. Knowledge of
Contract Administration in a FAR/DFARS environment Knowledge and
understanding of pricing principles and FAR/DFARS as well as
associated Federal Contracting regulations. DoD contracting
experience with the USG and/or major defense contractor customers.
Experience negotiating and administering various contract types of
varying sizes and types of agreements with the DoD. Experience
presenting and negotiating to all levels of management. Experience
with proposal development. Experience using Microsoft Office
including Outlook, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. Advanced proposal
strategy and contract formation experience. Demonstrated leadership
experience or supervisor experience US Citizenship Ability to
travel 10% of time as required to support major programs Preferred
Qualifications: Degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline
JD or MBA Familiarity with SAP based systems. NCMA Certification
(CPCM, CFCM and/or CCCM) Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel,
PowerPoint, Word). Excellent oral and written communication skills
and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and

Primary Level Salary Range: $115,000.00 - $199,700.00 The above
salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop
Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary
offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and
the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance
