Location : El Segundo, CA Schedule : Day shift, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM Duration : 2-yr Contract Pay Rate: $35 to $55 per hour Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Service Technical Support Specialist to support calibration operations within a high-level technical laboratory environment. This role focuses on the calibration of high power, high current, and high voltage equipment, as well as a wide range of electronic test and measurement instruments. This is a long-term contract opportunity supporting a global services organization. Key Responsibilities Perform calibration of high power supplies and high power electronic loads Calibrate DC shunts and power resistors Calibrate AC and DC power supplies Calibrate electronic test and measurement equipment, including multi-vendor instruments Work within a calibration laboratory environment following established procedures Adhere to all safety protocols related to high voltage and high current systems Document calibration results and maintain compliance with quality standards Required Skills and Experience Minimum 10 years of hands-on calibration experience Proven experience calibrating high power systems up to 20 kW Experience working with high current up to 1 kA and high voltage up to 1 kV Strong background calibrating AC and DC power supplies Experience calibrating electronic test and measurement equipment Prior experience working in a calibration laboratory Strong understanding of safety procedures when working with high voltage and high current Education Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Technology or a related field OR Equivalent combination of education and at least 10 years of relevant calibration experience
