Job Description Job Description Description: We are looking for a AV & LED Installation Technician to handle permanent installations of LED video walls, displays, and AV systems in commercial spaces. This position is hands-on, with responsibilities in installation, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has experience in low-voltage/electrical work and can ensure that systems are installed safely, professionally, and in compliance with all building and electrical codes. Key Responsibilities Install and mount LED walls, flat panels, projectors, and other commercial AV hardware. Run conduit and structured cabling (Cat6, fiber, audio, video, and control). Terminate, label, and test cables to industry standards. Troubleshoot AV/LED systems during and after installation. Configure and integrate AV systems (processors, switchers, control systems). Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local regulations. Document installation details and provide handover to clients. Respond to service calls and perform ongoing maintenance for installed systems. Requirements: Must have experience in commercial AV installation, electrical, or low-voltage work Solid understanding of structured cabling and signal flow. Hands on troubleshooting skills for AV and LED systems. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics. State-recognized Low Voltage or Electrical License (or ability to work under a licensed contractor). OSHA 10/30 certification preferred. Industry certifications (AVIXA CTS, Crestron, Extron, or similar) are a plus. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work at heights.
