(Remote/Hybrid)Description:The Senior Applications Engineer's role
is to support various Enterprise and Business Applications. This
position collaborates with BPO (Business Process Owners) and BRM
(Business Relationship Management) to help ensure AV's Enterprise &
Business applications are configured and operated efficiently and
effectively. Application Engineer focuses on Release Management,
coordinates, and works with Business functions to prioritize top
tickets and analyzes data in support of business cases, proposed
projects, and systems requirements. The Senior Applications
Engineer is also responsible for generating and compiling technical
requirements based on the Business requirements, system
configurations changes, testing, and status reports complete with
probable causes and possible solutions to systems issues. This
individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and
problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of AV's
Enterprise System Applications.Position Responsibilities:
- This role serves as the subject matter expert/Support
specialist for various functional areas within Workday which
include Recruiting, Core HR, Benefits, Advanced Compensation,
Talent, Learning, and PRISM/Enterprise Reporting.
- Manages ticket queue and SLA's and ensures production and
production users are up and running, using metrics and KPI's to
continuously improve service
- Reviews Best Practices and ensures production jobs, schedules
and business processes are operating in optimal capacity
- Collaborates with Technical Team (Delivery, Infrastructure) and
functional teams (Business Relationship Management and Business
Process Owners) to help ensure major product features, releases,
and patches are tested, validated, and deployed to production
- Enables best practices for SOD, SOX, GRC controls for various
Enterprise and Business Applications for User provisioning,
de-provisioning, Roles and access management; coordinates, periodic
access review with internal audit and other stake holders and
enables necessary protocols for secure access control collaborating
with DevOps teams
- Responsible for Interface design and support for ERP
Applications; leverages tools such as Mulesoft to optimize
development and support
- Collaborates with Technical team to deploy changes across Dev,
QA and Prod for enterprise applications
- Acts as primary point of contact with SaaS vendors coordinating
AV's cloud upgrades and releases, and works with Business and BAs
to coordinate UAT testing
- Maintains and manages functional, technical and regression test
catalog for reusability across monthly releases & Projects /
Programs
- Other duties as assignedBasic Qualifications (Required Skills &
Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science, Finance
and/or related field is required or equivalent combination of
education, training, and experience
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience with Oracle EBS R12 and/or
Oracle Cloud with expertise in functional analysis, Oracle Procure
to Pay Apps, Manufacturing, Logistics, Warehouse and Financial
Applications
- Strong knowledge of Procure to Pay processes required
- Extensive experience working on projects related to financial
systems
- Experience working with the Oracle support opening SRs with
Oracle, follow-up and issue resolution
- Strong knowledge of interfaces, workflow, AME, and underlying
Oracle tables required
- Strong communication skills: oral presentations, writing,
negotiation, active listening, influencing positive team
dynamics
- Ability to work in a multi-project environment and support
multiple internal customer/departmentsOther Qualifications &

- Advanced degree is preferred
